To the Chicago Committee on Trauma OF THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF SURGEONS
A. To promote training and improvement in all phases of the management of the injured person, including improvement in the transportation of the injured, and in the practice of the surgery of trauma.
B. To foster improvement in the methods of teaching of surgery of trauma at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
C. To promote the opportunity for the exchange of experiences, opinions, and research concerning the study of surgery of trauma through discussions, presentations and publications.
D. To promote educational interaction with other regional and national organizations having as a purpose improvement in the management of the injured persons.
E. To foster development of research, education, and other programs directed toward prevention of injuries in the home, in industry, on the highway, and during participation in sports activities.
F. To do and engage in any and all lawful activities that may be incidental or reasonably related to any of the foregoing purposes, and to have and exercise all of the powers and the authority now hereafter conferred upon not for profit corporations under the law of the State if Illinois.
