Training & Education Programs

The Chicago Committee on Trauma facilitates and coordinates the advanced educational training of doctors and medical professionals throughout the region. ATLS

The ATLS™ Provider Course ia a (2) two-day continuing medical education program designed to train the physician in the early life saving modalities for patients who have been physically injured by trauma.

Stop the bleed

The American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma is leading the effort to save lives by teaching the civilian population to provide vital initial response to stop uncontrolled bleeding in emergency situations.

Surgical Skills Program

The Advanced Surgical Skills for Exposure in Trauma (ASSET) course uses human cadavers to teach surgical exposure of anatomic structures that, when injured, may pose a threat to life or limb.
